The DataStax Developers are excited to announce this BRAND NEW session!--Organizations keep much of their high speed transactional data in fast NoSQL data stores like Cassandra. Traditionally, we point massively parallel processing analytics systems like Spark to obtain insights from this data. However, today&#x27;s analytics ecosystem is quickly embracing AI and ML techniques whose computation relies heavily on GPUs. So where does that leave us?Nvidia has invested heavily in the CUDA developer toolkit to empower developers to take advantage of their GPUs. An ecosystem of tools called RapidsAI has emerged around Nvidia&#x27;s CUDA APIs. RapidsAI takes common AL / ML APIs like pandas dataframes and scikit-learn and makes them available for GPU acceleration. --Join this new workshop with the DataStax Developers and Nvidia where we will explore a cutting edge approach at processing Cassandra data directly from the RapidsAI ecosystem by reading Cassandra sstables directly into GPU device memory!
