This month: Workplace Violence Prevention: Understanding Insider and Outsider Threats
Those posing a threat may be an employee or supervisor in the workplace (insider) or may be someone from outside the workplace carrying out an attack at your location (outsider). We will offer examples of these types of violence and discuss what risk factors should be included in any workplace violence prevention plan. Checklists will be provided as well as a review of two case examples using the Pathways-HR and DarkFox Violence Risk Assessment Systems.
