Concrete Timbre presents Working through the Waves, a program of new music and poetry composed for violin, piano, and saxophone. The past couple of years have not been easy for anybody. We kept working through the waves of covid, waves of sadness, waves of hope, and even waves of heat. And now, we’re excited to share it with you! Working through the Waves is our first live concert since well, since all of those waves hit us hard. We invite you to join us for an exciting program, full of magnificent jazz and contemporary classical music, and some poetry too. Performers include: Adam von Housen - Violin, Kyoko Oyobe - Piano, and the Cobalt Saxophone Quartet (Raymond Kelly - Soprano Sax, Anthony Izzo - Alto Sax, Ryan Mantell - Tenor Sax, Josh Lang - Baritone Sax), with Fedly Daniel - Narrator.Getting There - The Old Stone House located at 336 Third Street, between 4th and 5th Avenues and 3rd and 4th Streets in Brooklyn, New York. Public transportation options include the R (Union Street) and R or F (4th Avenue) trains, as well as the B63 bus.Street parking is available in the vicinity of the site.Please note that the performance space is not wheelchair accessible.COVID-19 Policies - Masks are required for all audience members.
