Event description

Given the complex inter-related challenges our communities and organizations face, it is becoming imperative to work across disciplines, organizations, and cultures to develop workable solutions.

This online workshop will build your understanding and skills for participating in and leading collaborative work. You will learn:

  • Core personal and collective leadership qualities that support collaboration
  • What it means to practice “collective sensemaking”
  • How to enable people and groups to do their best thinking and experience the benefits of networked ways of working together
  • Several participatory methods that can also work on-line

This online workshop will be held on Zoom video conference, so you will also get to experience how to work collaboratively virtually, including having small group conversations online. You will receive several handouts with resources and guidance.

Beth Tener of New Directions Collaborative will facilitate, sharing methods she has practiced in work with over 150 organizations and collaborative initiatives, concerning socially responsible business, sustainability, local food systems, education, climate action, racial equity, and transportation. The New Hampshire Food Alliance is co-sponsoring the series.

This workshop is the second in a series. You can attend one or the series.

Workshop fee is $70.

If this fee is a barrier to participating, please contact Beth at btener@ndcollaborative.com - discounts are available to make this accessible to all interested.

The workshop is limited to 30 participants, so please sign up soon to save your spot.
