WordPress Web Design Masterclass Series
A 6-Week Live Project Experience for Hands-On Website Builders
Are you ready to level up your WordPress skills by working on a real website — from start to finish?
The WordPress Web Design Masterclass Series by Pages & Posts puts you in the designer's seat for a complete website redesign project. Over six weeks, participants will work through a real-world redesign for Freedom's Point, a convenience store and catering company rooted in a historic area of Jackson, MS. The goal: deliver a modern, user-friendly website that serves a real business and a real community.
This isn't a watch-and-learn experience. This is a roll-up-your-sleeves, do-the-work series where skills are built by doing.
What to Expect
- 6 live virtual workshops, 2 hours each
- Real project work on an actual client website
- Collaboration with fellow participants
- Hands-on tasks to complete between sessions
- Instruction from working web design professionals who code every day
Session Schedule All sessions run 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM CT
- Session 1 — Tuesday, April 7
- Session 2 — Tuesday, April 14
- Session 3 — Tuesday, April 21
- Session 4 — Tuesday, April 28
- Session 5 — Tuesday, May 5
- Session 6 — Tuesday, May 12
Who Should Attend
This series is designed for participants who already have some experience building websites and are ready to take on a real project. Prior website building experience is strongly encouraged.
Two Ways to Participate
🔨 Builder — Builders are active project contributors. You'll be assigned tasks, work on the project site, collaborate with the team between sessions, and have a direct hand in the final delivered product. Builders who complete the program will have the opportunity to claim the finished website as a piece of their professional portfolio — a real, live project for a real client. Limited to 6 spots.
👂 Auditor — Auditors are engaged observers. You'll attend all six live webinars, ask questions, and get access to a supplementary sandbox version of the site to explore and practice in alongside other auditors. Questions can be submitted during the designated Q&A segment at the end of each session or through our shared Auditor community channel between sessions. Limited to 15 spots.
Both ticket types include access to all 6 live sessions.
Important Notes
- Builders should be comfortable navigating their computer and browser, working with online tools, and troubleshooting basic technical issues independently. If you're newer to working in a digital environment, the Auditor ticket is a great way to learn and get your feet wet before jumping into a build.
- Builders should expect to dedicate time to project tasks outside of the weekly sessions.
- This is a virtual event. A link will be provided prior to the start of the program.
Our Work Take a look at a few of our recent projects:
Refund Policy
Refund requests submitted more than 7 days before the program start date of April 7 will be automatically approved. Refund requests submitted within 7 days of April 7 will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed. No refunds will be issued after the program begins on April 7, regardless of attendance. Partial refunds for individual sessions attended are not available. No-shows are not eligible for refunds.
Ticket Transfers Tickets are non-transferable and may not be transferred to another person.
Downgrading from Builder to Auditor Builders who wish to downgrade to an Auditor ticket must submit a refund request at least 7 days before April 7 through the automatic refund process. Once the refund is processed, the Auditor ticket may be purchased separately, subject to availability. Downgrades are not guaranteed if Auditor tickets are no longer available.
Program Cancellation In the unlikely event that Pages & Posts cancels the program, all registered participants will receive a full refund.
Denied Refund Requests If a refund request submitted within the 7-day window is not approved, Pages & Posts will work with the participant in good faith to find a reasonable alternative. This may include a credit toward a future Pages & Posts class or event, at our discretion.
