Textual Analysis techniques enable researchers to analyze large texts, or other collections of words. In this example-based introduction to basic word embeddings techniques with Jupyter we will explore the package word2vec to learn vector representation of words and analyze language variation. Specifically, we will be using a gensim model to measure differences in meaning and demonstrating vector representation of words. This workshop assumes basic Python and Jupyter experience. People with project ideas welcome!
