Woof, Neigh, Meow: Ethics, practice, competency, & risks with animals in play therapy

This advanced discussion group seeks to connect play therapists who integrate animals into practice. The group's purpose includes fostering a professional community who is dedicated to sharing expertise and enhancing practices with exploring topics such as ethical considerations, risk management strategies, and innovative interventions to promote high-quality therapeutic outcomes.

Animal Assisted Interventions (AAI) is a cutting-edge practice that offers a safe and humane space for play therapists to discuss emerging trends, risks, and best practices of including animals. In this advanced discussion, participants can exchange knowledge, experiences, and engage in meaningful discussions. Our goal is to create a supportive and collaborative environment that empowers professionals to build their confidence and effectiveness in their work. Through active engagement with peers, professionals can further develop their skills and knowledge in a supportive and integrative environment. We are committed to providing a space for play therapists to grow, process, and develop their AAI practices with like-minded professionals.

Limited to 50 participants. Your spot will not be guaranteed without completion of registration with payment.
