About this event

  • 2 hours

Elizabeth McCall began her career at Brown-Forman in 2009 as a sensory expert, working her way up the ladder, to eventually become the Assistant Master Distiller for Woodford Reserve. Last year she was named Master Distiller, following in the footsteps of the legendary Chris Morris. In this role, Elizabeth oversees new product development and innovations.

The art of making fine bourbon first took place on the site of the Woodford Reserve Distillery, a National Historic Landmark, in 1812. The perfectly balanced taste of their Kentucky Straight Bourbon is comprised of more than 200 detectable flavor notes, from bold grain and wood, to sweet aromatics, spice, and fruit & floral notes.

Elizabeth will lead us through a tasting of a variety of Woodford whiskeys.

The tasting will be held at the German American Club, which was founded in 1878. They have a beautiful and spacious indoor beer hall and lush outdoor grounds that will be perfect for our event.

Of course we'll have tasty food and awesome door prizes, as always.

The Bourbon Brotherhood is a monthly gathering of men who enjoy bourbon and camaraderie. You must be 21+ to attend this event. Please drink responsibly.
