Create your own wood turned pen or pencil in this workshop! All supplies and instructions are included. Price is per item. Many different styles to choose from.

As part of the workshop, you will turn your own wood blank into your own usable pen or pencil. Safety materials included as well as the instruction to help you design your own pen. You will then assemble your pen and you can also engrave it by using our laser engravers, if you desire.

O pen to minors, 10 years of age or older and over 4ft 6 inches in height, accompanied by an adult. Those younger than 10 will need the adult to participate for them. Please reach out if you have questions.

The Fab Lab at Lake Michigan College is an open access digital fabrication studio and collaborative workshop. We provide access to information, tools, software and space for anyone who has an interest to learn and create. The Fab Lab provides open access to design software, laser cutters, 3D printers, vinyl cutters, sewing machines, mini-lathes, woodshop, CNC router (ShopBot) and hand tools.
