Wood Burning Fundamentals - Pyrography 101

Our classes and workshops are the perfect “unique” alternative to a material gift or “stuff” for any occasion! In this class, we embark on a journey of wood burning! Exploring the safety, material preparation, tools, and techniques we will be learning and practicing the fundamentals of tracing, etching and shading on the surface of a bass wood plank creating your very own customized sign with your name and your design! All materials are included and the student will leave with the burning tools and plank at the end of the class. All class participants receive a 15% discount on merchandise purchased in the store on the same day of their class. Exclusions Apply. Students should come properly attired for a woodworking class (tight fitting clothing, long hair restrained and constrained from the face); and bring or wear provided industry standard hearing protection and safety glasses during equipment operation. All woodworking classes are held in a store that sells a wide variety of woods, including exotic woods such as cedar, aromatic cedar and other products (e.g., finishes, cleaners, etc.) that may cause allergic or other reactions in a small number of cases.
