Wonk Prom: Official After-Party of the Public Policy Forum Testimonial Dinner
Wonk Prom begins when the Testimonial Dinner ends—extending the biggest night in Canadian politics and welcoming Public Policy Forum guests and others for a night of networking, music and good cheer. Join policy leaders, senior politicians, journalists as well as young policy players in celebrating public leadership and emerging policy talent!
Not attending the Testimonial Dinner? Not a problem! Wonk Prom is for anyone interested in sharing their passion for public policy and governance.
Some key data points:
- Advance tickets are $30. Tickets at the door are $35. Reduced pricing is available for low wage earners.
- Your first drink is on us! Choose from a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Located just across the street from the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, Steam Whistle Brewing is housed in the historic John Street Roundhouse and can be accessed by public transit. The venue is fully accessible.
- Featuring virtual reality experiences created by Indigenous artists, and Canadian political trivia games.
- Live music by the Amador Latin Jazz Quartet.
- There is no dress code, however business formal or business casual attire is suggested. Corsages and cummerbunds are strictly optional. : )
- Must be 19 years of age or older.
All proceeds from the event will go to support Samara Canada.
