The Greenhouse and Education Center at Denny Farrell Riverbank State Park

Open up to wonder and awe of the plants that surround us with weekly walks starting in the garden or greenhouse and then through our shared natural and urban spaces in Harlem. Each week, we’ll explore the people and plant relationships through varied lenses, diving into topics such as ethno-botany, community science, and more. Walk together in community and attune to your senses in these intergenerational walks to learn from, feel connected to, and care for the plants around us in our everyday lives.
