A weekend of workshops all rolled into one retreat for women only. New friendships form as we gather for farm to fork meals and learn new skills: cheese making, soap making, fiber arts, poultry processing, food preservation and canning, gardening, and fire making, to name a few. All offered within a framework that provides plenty of options to plug in or disconnect and recharge among the gardens and pastures and quiet spaces. Participants will take home the products of their endeavors.

Limited lodging in the farmhouse; tent camping and campers/RVs welcome (no hook ups). Restroom/shower facilities available. All meals included. This is a weekend of learning in a supportive environment.

Event is open to women over 18 years old and limited to 12 people. Cost is $300/person; lodging in farmhouse add $60/person.

Requires 6 participants to hold event.

Providence Farm is a small farm located just outside Greensboro, in McLeansville, North Carolina. We are a few miles north of I-85/40, just north east of the 785 bypass. The farm is populated with rare, heritage breed sheep, miniature dairy goats, Tamworth pigs, and a ridiculous amount of poultry.  Responsible, sustainable stewardship in a predator friendly, pasture based regenerative system is what we're all about. We offer pasture raised poultry, pork, & lamb, as well as free range chicken eggs, various fiber related goods from our sheep, and other artisan goods from local producers.
