Join your fellow SUP Sisters + Life's 2 Short members and enjoy watching the sunset from your paddleboard!
Event schedule:
- Arrive anytime before 6pm to pump up boards, meet & greet with fellow SUP Sisters .
- SUP Sisters merchandise will also be available for sale onsite, time to gear up and represent!
- Group picture at 6:30pm SHARP and then head to the water en masse.
- Paddle through sunset and be back to shore by 8:30pm to pack-up.
- Kayakers also welcome!
*Please plan on a park entry fee of $10 per car, annual passes also available. Dogs are welcome at the park as well as on the water with you.
Event fee includes:
- Glow necklaces to light up the water in style
- SUP Sisters and L2S stickers
- Digital photo album
- SUP Sisters ambassadors on-site to help out newbies with pumping up boards and answering questions!
- Proceeds will help us to continue hosting social events, zoom presentations, charity events plus invest in safety gear that we loan out for no charge including PDF's, leashes, extra paddles and more. Thank you for supporting the community!
- SUP rentals available for $30
S afety stuff:
REQUIRED: PFD, leash, whistle and headlamp. Also a lantern if you have one. State law requires that a PDF be on the board and when paddling after sunset an origin of light that can be seen in all directions.
REMEMBER: there are no instructors or lifeguards on duty during these events. You are responsible for your own safety while on the lake. Please dress appropriately, and know your skill level.
Refund and transfers not available 24 hours prior to each event
W eather policy:
W e will let participants know if we need to cancel or delay an event within an hour of the planned meetup start time via email and on the Facebook event page. We know some people travel a bit to get to our location however the forecast in Colorado can change hour by hour and we don't want to make a premature decision. If we need to cancel we will always offer a credit for a future event or a refund. Thank you for understanding!
