Women in Tech & Entrepreneurship is a decentralized, member-led community of high-performing, non-conforming women working in technology, start-ups, venture capital, entrepreneurship, economic development, & business support organizations.

Why was WTE Founded?

Our founder is on a mission to resource women in tech and entrepreneurship with near-peer mentorship, educational opportunities, and a support network. We're addressing gaps for women at every level - from entry-level to owner.

How do I join WTE?

Joining is simple! There are no fees, applications, or other burdensome hoops to jump through. You can join WTE and make the most out of our programs by showing up to events consistently, joining us on slack, and staying active.

Does it cost money to participate in WTE?

No, and it never will. We don't believe financial barriers should dictate our opportunities or access. We will never charge you to attend our monthly happy hours or workshops and we do not charge membership fees.

How is WTE funded?

Our founder personally finances WTE to keep the community dues-free. We are actively working on offsetting operational costs through corporate sponsorships, newsletter advertising, referral fees, and job ads.

Can I sponsor a WTE event?

Does WTE partner with other community organizations?
