About the Speakers
Preethi Narayanan is the head of New Platforms at eero and was the first device software engineer on the Amazon Echo. Preethi’s talk focuses on her work with the Amazon Echo. She will discuss how defining standards for success in a category where no competition exists, and obsessing over customer experience allowed the creation of a successful IoT product that continues to be central in the space.
Katharine Matsumoto was the first data hire at eero and has spent the last year and a half building out analytics capacity and infrastructure. Prior to eero, she was a Senior Data Scientist at Salesforce. Katharine will discuss the challenges of wrangling and extracting insights from streams of connected devices and lessons learned from building the data system that is now responsible for the largest ever mesh network dataset.
