It’s an open secret that women-led and women-owned companies yield higher returns on investment than those led or owned by men. No matter how much capital you have to deploy (as little as $5!), discover and learn how to use your investment power to invest with a gender lens. At LACI’s first quarterly Women in Cleantech Workshop of 2019, we'll highlight how you can make money and change the world!

Tracy Gray

Tracy Gray has over 20 years experience assisting organizations in a variety of industries to reach their international, investment, strategy and marketing/communications goals. Ms. Gray is currently the Founder and Managing Partner of The 22 Fund, a social impact, growth capital and advisory firm with a job creation mission and increase the export capacity and international sales of Southern California manufacturing companies, targeting women- and minority-owned businesses. In addition, Ms. Gray is the founder of the non-profit We Are Enough (WAE). WAE’s only mission is to increase the flow of capital to women entrepreneurs by educating ALL women on how and why to invest in women-owned for-profit businesses or with a “gender lens.”

Delilah Panio

Delilah is the Executive Director and Co-Founder of We Are Enough, a non-profit that educates women on why and how to invest in women-owned businesses and/or with a gender lens. She also runs her own consulting firm to help early-stage companies become investor ready and is very active in the LA entrepreneur community, including as a frequent speaker, mentor for the Stubbs Alderton Markiles LLP Pre-accelerator Program, and pitch coach for organizations such as the Women Founders Network. Previously she was the former Co-Chair of Women in LAVA (Los Angeles Venture Association), and was the L.A. Lead for SheEO's 2016 Radical Generosity program, an innovative new model funding model for women-led businesses.

Diane Manuel

Diane is focused on helping women live their best lives. She is committed through her work and philanthropy to ensuring that women’s lives can be as wonderful as they can imagine. In her role as Financial Advisor at Urban Wealth Management, Diane typically works with successful women who are fantastic at what they do, but are super busy with demanding jobs, and are challenged by the lack of time to put towards their own personal finances. She helps these women get their money working efficiently and effectively for them without it taking time away from family or work.

Darya Allen-Attar

Darya Allen-Attar is a financial advisor at the Santa Monica office of Morgan Stanley Wealth Management. Drawing from over 23 years of experience at Morgan Stanley, Allen-Attar focuses on advising endowment and foundation clients on their investment portfolios. She provides a comprehensive institutional approach to the investment management of endowment portfolios for clients such as operating nonprofits, family foundations, and other endowments. She focuses on socially responsible investing, and “Investing with Impact.” Her mission focused investors are increasingly focused on aligning their invested capital with their values, and view evaluation of environmental, social and governance matters as a key challenge or opportunity for their invested capital.

Vicki Saunders

Vicki Saunders is an entrepreneur, award-winning mentor, advisor to the next generation of change makers and leading advocate for entrepreneurship as a way of creating positive transformation in the world. Vicki was recently named as 1 of 30 “World-Changing Women in Conscious Business” by Conscious Company Magazine and one of the 100 most influential leaders of 2015 from “EBW – Empowering A Billion Women”, In 2001, Vicki was selected as a Global Leader for Tomorrow by the World Economic Forum.
