Join us for a monthly series with an incredible line-up of holistic healers and wisdom keepers from various traditional medicine ways. They will guide us in learning ancient and new tools for mothers, aunties, womb-carriers, birthworkers and anyone who is devoted to womb health and healing.

Gain valuable knowledge for your toolkit to nurture womb vitality and holistic well-being for yourself and the communities you serve.

Each month we will begin with connecting with one another through games and intention setting for the day before deepening with the featured teacher.

Ana Jiménez from Amawa Academy

Ana Jimenez is a mother, an ecosomatic hormonal health coach, and womb educator from Colombia, now based in Nevada City, CA. She has a Master’s in Medical Microbiology and for the last 7 years has consulted women’s health organizations in LATAM and the US. She specializes in supporting women through various stages of their reproductive and hormonal health journeys. Focusing in women seeking to conceive, those experiencing hormonal imbalances, and individuals who want to deepen connection with their sexuality and womb wisdom - including the ones who have lost their physical wombs. Ana's 13 years learning healing modalities and ceremonial practices from indigenous communities across the Abya Yala (Americas) allow her to bridge Western and Ancient worldviews. She is a chanupa carrier and has received traditional altars and sacred tools like the Lakota Inipi sweat lodge, Humitos Sagrados and Chicha which she helds with so much honor and humility.


Peregrine Whitehurst from Cedar Heart Wellness

Peregrine Whitehurst, LAc. is an acupuncturist and herbalist who uses many modalities including Medical Qi Gong, Depth Hypnosis and somatic release practices to support people of all ages and stages in finding their path towards optimal health and wellness in mind, mody and spirit. She has a special focus on women's health especially for fertility, pregnancy and postpartum support, but also works with mental and emotional rebalancing, sleep, digestive and orthopedic concerns. She has just returned from maternity leave from her second child. She is now practicing in Nevada City and also from her home office. She practices Classical Chinese herbalism in the lineage of Hu Xi Shu in which she has received mentoring from Anna Weirditsch, LAc. She has updated her pharmacy of raw herbs to include as many organic and US grown Asian herbs as possible and was a founding member of Lilium Initiative to support more US farmers to grow beyond organic Asian herbs.
