Join The Fort Restaurant and a representative of E & J Gallo for a five-course wine pairing dinner featuring wines made by women producers and learn the amazing stories behind each of these talented ladies!

By attending this dinner, you are supporting the "Women Behind the Wine" initiative along with Gallo and the Women of the Vine & Spirits Foundation, which has proudly supported women in wine through donations of $80-100k annually in educational scholarships. By hosting these dinners, we bring awareness to all the amazing female leaders in the wine industry and the delicous wine they produce.

Excite your taste buds as you taste your way through wines from Pahlmeyer, Allegrini Estates, J Vineyards, Poggio al Tesoro, & Talbott Wineries, each paired with some of The Fort's most distinctive and delectable offerings.

Menu and Wine Pairings:

First Course: Smoked Duck Crostini topped with Bourbon Apricot Chutney. Paired with Tesoro, Toscana Vermentino Solosole.

Second Course: Norwegian Artic Salmon over an Arugula Salad, finished with fresh homemade Mango Salsa. Paired with Talbott Vineyards, Sleepy Hollow Vineyard, Chardonnay.

Third Course: Teriyaki marinated Quail over broiled cheesy potatoes, finished with Huckleberry Sauce. Paired with J Vineyards, Pinot Noir.

Fourth Course: Buffalo Short Rib over creamy goat cheese polenta, finished with a port wine gravy. Paired with Jayson Pahlmeyer, Cabernet Sauvignon.

Fifth Course: Raspberry Chamboard Chocolate Mousse Negrita, topped with Whip Cream. Paired with Allegrini, Palazzo della Torre Veronese.

What if I would like to sit with another group?

Please email banquets@thefort.com and let us know the name on your group of tickets and the name on the group of tickets you would like to sit with. Please confirm the total number of guests you would like at one table. Please note we can only seat groups of 8 or less.

Where do I check in?

Upon entering the two big front doors facing the street, you will follow the red brick path across the courtyard to the "Eating House Doors." After entering please approach the host stand and ask them where to check in for the Orin Swift wine dinner.

How long do I have to cancel?

You can cancel up to 7 days prior to the event for a full refund.
