Please read all items below:

• Resident status - lives inside the city limits of Leavenworth or Fort Leavenworth. Proof of residency required when pass is picked up at Wollman Aquatic Center.
• Non-Resident status - lives outside the city limits of Leavenworth or Fort Leavenworth.
• Household passes are for families up to 4 people. If you have a larger family, you must buy your passes in person when Wollman Aquatic Center is open.

Photo will be taken at Wollman Aquatic Center on the first visit. For family passes, a photo will be taken of each member of the family. You may have your photo taken and pick up your pass beginning May 20.

Pass Replacement Policy - Season passes that are lost are replaceable only at Wollman Aquatic Center for a $5 fee.

Rules & Regulations

• Children ages 10 and under MUST be accompanied and supervised at ALL times by a person age 18 years or older.
• Proper swim attire is required - no thongs, cut-offs, “sagging”, or suits with belts, buckles, rivets, etc. NO street clothes will be allowed past the breezeway.
• Swim diapers are mandatory for all non-toilet-trained swimmers.
• Showers are required before entering the swimming pool.
• No flotation devices are allowed.** Noodles are ok.
• No dunking, running, or horseplay.
• Improper conduct or profane language will not be tolerated.
• No food, beverages (except water), or glass containers. No gum or tobacco products.
• All food and drink must remain at the concession stand area.
• Persons under the influence of drugs or alcohol are prohibited from entering the Aquatic Center.
• Persons with communicable diseases, rashes, and skin, ear, or eye infections are not allowed in the water.
• No animals, except for service dogs for the handicapped, are allowed in the Aquatic Center.
• The Aquatic Center and Leavenworth Parks and Recreation are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
• Lifeguards have the authority to enforce other rules as needed. The air temperature must be at least 72 degrees Fahrenheit to open.
• Management reserves the right to refuse admittance to or eject from the premises any person failing to comply with these and other posted health and safety regulations.
• The Aquatic Center will close during inclement weather. Rain check coupons may be issued to patrons as they exit the facility.

**In order to keep all patrons safe while enjoying the pool, only noodle floats may be used. No other toys or floats are allowed unless during class times. This includes puddle-jumpers, water wings, life jackets, and inner tube float rings. An approved Personal Flotation Device (PFD) may be used by an individual with special physical or mental need. This must have prior approval from the Aquatic Supervisor.

Inclement Weather/Lightning Policy

Lightning’s behavior is random and unpredictable. Preparedness and quick response are the best defenses towards a lightning hazard.

Swimming pools, both indoor and outdoor pools, are connected to a much larger surface area via underground water pipes, gas lines, electric and telephone wiring, etc. A lightning strike in one place to this metallic network may induce shocks elsewhere. When a body is in free floating water, it is not part of any circuit path and cannot receive shocks. When a body in water is in contact with a circuit path, it will conduct current. This includes feet on the floor, touching the sides of the pool, touching ladders, underwater lights, railings, etc. Persons not in the water but inside the pool building may also become victims. Wet floors at pool facilities are very good conductors.

At the first signs of thunder or lightning, all pool activities will be suspended (including showers) until 30 minutes after the last observed thunder or lightning. Patrons should leave the pool and the surrounding area and seek shelter inside the main building. Staff will continue to monitor inclement weather; if conditions do not improve the pool will either have a delayed opening, closure for the day, or reopen when conditions are favorable.
