Providing tools to landowners to protect farm animals

Why attend? With expanding wolf populations and other predators in every part of rural landscapes, this workshop is intended to

• give rural landowners the tools needed to protect their animals

• provide the latest, accurate information from the experts

Who should attend? Ranchers (large and small), farmers, any property owner/manager with current or potential predation issues, and anyone interested in learning more about preventing conflicts with wolves and other predators.

Learn about:

• The status of wolves in Oregon

• The benefits and challenges of non-lethal deterrents

• Case studies where non-lethal strategies have succeeded

• Resources for protecting livestock from predators in SW Oregon

• On the ground implementation
