Please join us all day for Who Owns Black Data. Vol.2: The Past in Danger hosted on May 14, 2025 in New Haven, CT at Yale University. This historic convening will gather a distinguished group of scholars, librarians, activists and archivists to discuss, elucidate, and provide public answers to the question: who owns and controls the Black historical and cultural record? For more information about the public symposium please visit our symposium website.

We are asking audience members to let us know if they would like to join us for the reception and keynote dialogue starting at 5PM on the day of the symposium. We have limited seating and catering. Please RSVP by registering for the evening event. You don't need to register for the rest of the symposium. On the evening of the reception, if you don't have a name tag, please bring a printout of the RSVP, and you'll be good to go.

We look forward to seeing you there!
