Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northern NJ, The Greater Newton Chamber of Commerce and the Town of Newton

WizardCon is an event for all ages, allowing witches and wizards to come together to celebrate the books, movies and characters they love.  We will be offering several spellbinding activities throughout the day such as potion classes, cosplay contests, scavenger hunts, food trucks, photobooths, themed drink specials at participating bars, live music by East Side Love and Jeiris Cook, quidditch lessons from The Clifton Warriors and several surprises!  
All proceeds from this event will benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northern NJ, The Greater Newton Chamber of Commerce and the Town of Newton!

<H2>What to know for WizardCon!</H2>
WizardCon is considered a private event between 1:30 PM – 5:30 PM on Spring Street and Memory Park in Newton, NJ. Rain or shine, the event is on! 
TICKETS:

If you buy tickets in advance – head to the Registration areas on Saturday to pick up your wristband. The wristband will grant you access to WizardCon! If you won tickets from one of our magical Facebook giveaways, your name will be at the Registration points, so you can pick up your event wristband for you and your guest. There will be shuttles from the Sussex Community College and Fairgrounds to the event beginning at 1 PM.
WHAT’S HAPPENING: We will have several events throughout the day exclusive to wristband holders which include Quidditch/Kidditch lessons with the Clifton Warriors Quidditch Team, Live Music, Scavenger Hunts, Cosplay Contests and Exclusive Discounts at participating stores. We hope to see you on Saturday! See below for the schedule of events. Additionally, be sure to stop by participating businesses and vendors to see what they’re brewing up!
1:30 PM: Quidditch/Kidditch Sign-Ups with The Clifton Warriors – Memory Park The Knight Realm Experience – Memory Park Scavenger Hunt – Spring Street Alleyways Sorting Hat Photo Opportunity – In front of O’Reilly’s and at the opposite end of Spring Street Letter Writing to Santa – Spring Street
2:00 PM: East Side Love (A Red Hot Chili Peppers Tribute Band) performance – Memory Park Stage United Methodist Church Choir Performance – Spring Street
2:30 PM: Quidditch/Kidditch Returns – Memory Park
3:00 PM: Cosplay Contest – Fire Museum
3:30 PM: Jeiris Cook Performance – Memory Park Stage
Additionally, Spell Classes will be taking place every hour from 1:30 – 4:30.
