Overview

A monthly gathering for living the questions.

Most of us know the feeling: something is calling us forward, and we're not sure we're ready to answer. We wait for the right moment, the right conditions, the right version of ourselves to arrive. But what if readiness is a myth, and the beginning itself is what changes us?

This month's Wisdom Lab gathers around the theme of starting before you're ready . Together, we explore the courage, the uncertainty, and the unexpected aliveness that comes from moving before we feel prepared. Come with your own relationship to this: where you've begun before you felt ready, where you're still waiting, what's holding you back and what's willing you forward.

About the Wisdom Lab

Each of us carries an innate wisdom–embodied knowing accumulated from our unique life experiences–that can arise through us at any time. When this wisdom is inspired and shared in communion with others, we amplify the intelligence of all. This collective intelligence helps us remember and reclaim what we’ve forgotten, and discover new potential and possibility within ourselves and in the broader world.

The Wisdom Lab at Dvára is a monthly circle for anybody “living the questions” – to gather with curiosity, wonder, and genuine interest in the human experience, exploring what’s deeply meaningful to each of us personally and collectively. The Lab is committed to exploring and experiencing truth in ways that touch us deeply and help guide us on our journeys. This is a collaborative, contemplative, and sacred space to bring forward what’s most present and alive in each of us and between us, and to explore our questions and ideas together with open minds, hearts, and bodies, in the direction of greater healing.

Each session explores a theme or topic close to what’s alive in the collective field. These gatherings are a living entity, intentionally shaped to be co-constructive and participatory, enabling everyone to build on insights as they emerge in the room, shape meaning together, witness each person’s expression, and hold a full-bodied field as one. Each session also emphasizes somatic experience, with prompts that invite participants into mindful awareness of what’s happening in the body.

Why Wisdom Lab?

A laboratory is where things get tested and explored. It’s a space of experimentation, where we play in the liminal territory between the known world and the uncharted. The lab is a perfect metaphor for curiosity, representing the human drive to ask, “What if?” and open the door to possibility, potential, and unexpected discovery. Participating in the Lab means allowing experience to unfold, rather than imposing a strict agenda or forcing a predictable outcome. The magic of the Lab lies in creating the conditions for the miraculous to find us.

The Wisdom Lab is informed by a few essential pillars:

Organicity. We all have an innate, internal intelligence that knows how to adapt, grow, and heal, and this is as true at the group level as it is for us individually. Together we create the conditions for organicity to do its work, through the principles that follow, cultivating a space of safety, relationality, and spaciousness.

Self-leadership. We are each invited to lead ourselves in ways that honor our own boundaries and those of others. We take responsibility for our own conduct, speak from our own lived experience, and refrain from advice-giving, fixing, and analysis. We trust that others are practicing the same.

Co-creation. We work together as equal partners in witnessing, sharing, and generating new wisdom together. Every voice is honored, and we are each active co-owners of the group experience.

Curiosity. We approach our own experience with curiosity rather than certainty, allowing insight to emerge rather than forcing meaning. We stay open to information, ideas, and experiences that live beyond what we know.

Open-heartedness. We participate with radical empathy, creating a haven where vulnerability, authenticity, and challenge can be seen without fear of judgement. Together, we contribute to a culture of collective care.

Presence. We show up with full attention to the here and now. Presence alone can be profoundly healing, and it is a core ingredient for genuine connection and resilient relationship.

What to expect in each session:

  • A gentle arrival into presence and embodiment
  • Inquiry into a topic close to the collective heart
  • Open sharing, dialogue, and co-creation
  • Prompts and guidance to deepen somatically
  • Post-circle reflections to support integration and continued engagement

Space is limited to keep the circle intimate.
