About this event

Ever wondered how people make a tree out of wire and beads? This is your chance to learn!

We will cover basic plier skills for those who need it, choose from a wide array of beads for your leaves, and then get to work twisting and forming our tree. This class is great for beginners and kids 12+, but those with experience using wire will also enjoy creating this ornate little tree!

Students will leave with a completed tree, instructions should they choose to make more on their own, and a supply and tool resource list.

Local ceramicist and metalsmith Linore Huss has always been adventurous and creative. She loves to explore new mediums, and the world around her is always an opportunity to find new shapes and textures. Linore encourages her students to show creativity in every process, and loves when they teach her something new as they come in with open eyes and minds.

Linore graduated with her BFA in metalsmithing and ceramics in 2018, and has since taught in Ohio, Maine, and Tennessee in various age ranges and topics. Her classes with us include a variety of jewelry workshops, as well as occasional other topics such as tie-dye.
