Wire Basket Flower Workshop

Upper Market Gallery aims to connect under-represented & emerging artists with collectors in the Bay Area and beyond. In its small storefront nestled in the emblematic, twisting streets of the Castro/Twin Peaks neighborhood, UMG will host curated, thematic exhibitions featuring artists from the San Francisco Bay Area.We also collaborate directly with artists to produce editioned prints or objects that are exclusively available through the gallery. This allows emerging collectors to invest in a rare work at an affordable price, while supporting these artists’ longer-term careers.UMG aims to break down the barriers of the art world by being community- and artist-focused, hosting virtual and physical events from studio visits to dinners to shows, bringing together artists, musicians, designers, chefs, and creatives in the city by the Bay.

Come join us at Upper Market Gallery for a unique Wire Basket Workshop! Learn how to craft and use your very own wire baskets with the guidance of our expert instructor.This hands-on event is perfect for beginners and seasoned crafters alike, and will take place amidst the beauty of our current art exhibition, <a href="https://www.uppermarketgallery.com/waves-of-remembrance" title="https://www.uppermarketgallery.com/waves-of-remembrance" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Waves of Remembrance</a> - a multidisciplinary solo showcase by Outer Sunset artist Sarah McCarthy Grimm.The event will be led by San Francisco's new Flower Child Studio, opening in November 2025 as a flower shop with floral design classes available to the public.
