Winterizing the Garden E

Whether you have a vegetable garden or a flower garden, there are several things you can do before the first frost to prepare your garden for winter. During this workshop, we will discuss some of these tasks and how to get your garden ready before the cold weather arrives.

By the end of the workshop, you'll know what you can do with the leaves that fall from your trees, how to extend your vegetable growing season for a couple more weeks, and when and how to cut back the tall, spent flower stems.
