Winter Workshop: Private Practice Fundraiser

Learn the finances of running a private practice AND donate to JOIN to support our neighbors in their housing needs this holiday season!

Want to support your community AND learn about how to start a private practice? It’s all happening here (and by here I mean online) on Tuesday December 15, 6-7pm. Andrea Redeau, LPC and Ariana Lloyd, LCSW (owner of Lloyd Collective) will be discussing how to financially prepare for and sustain a private practice. Andrea and Ariana are both passionate about business, clinical excellence, and helping more clinicians enter the private practice realm. The first half of the workshop will be spent in presentation on the financial aspects of practice. We will pause at 6:30 for a donation time. The fee to this workshop is a pay-what-you-can donation to <a href="https://joinpdx.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">JOIN</a>. JOIN is a radical, anti-oppressive, housing focused non-profit in Portland that has done so much good for our community. As this year comes to an end, many of our fellow community members are suffering from the economical impact of COVID. They could use our support to pay rent, buy food, and *hopefully* by a gift for a loved one. The second half of the workshop (6:30-7pm) will be an open question and answer period, all questions welcome. We’ll also be briefly sharing about our own work, including Andrea’s upcoming <a href="https://graduate.lclark.edu/live/events/323540-online-building-a-private-practice-from-the-soul-a" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">training</a> and her mission to get more Black therapists in private practice, and Lloyd Collective&#x27;s <a href="https://www.lloydcollective.com/createopportunity" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">8-week program</a> to help more liberation-focused clinicians enter the business world.
