Overview

Participants will be led on a 45-minute walk and shown identifying features of trees that are commonly found in our urban setting.

Local naturalist Joe Franckiewicz will lead participants on a slow, meandering 45-minute walk around Garfield Community Farm and its surrounding wooded areas during this event. Joe will stop at various trees to point out the notable features that make it possible to identify trees even in the winter. This is a free, family-friendly workshop. This event takes place outside, so please dress for the weather.
