Winter SolarFest 2017

The Solar Unified Network of Western Pennsylvania or SUNWPA (we say ‘sun-wip-a’) was formed in 2010 as a project of Citizens for Pennsylvania’s Future solar program, Three Rivers Solar Source, in an effort to unite the solar industry companies in the region. Since that time we’ve expanded our reach to include solar support and supply chain businesses, solar owners, non-profit organizations and individuals.The Pittsburgh region has long been the energy capital of the country and our vision is that solar power – our most abundant energy resource– will be the dominant electricity source within the next decade. Solar energy will clean our dirty air, drive our cars, reduce greenhouse gases and power our homes and businesses with pollution-free technology that is dependable and proven. SUNWPA is leading the charge to transform our energy landscape.
