Winter is a good time to prune many different of plants. Join us to learn which plants to prune and why they need to be pruned.

Late winter is the ideal time to prune a wide variety of plants including rose bushes, grape vines, blueberry bushes, and a wide variety of ornamental trees and shrubs. In this workshop we will discuss what types of cuts need to be made, how to make them, and why they should be made.

We will talk about fruit trees, berry blants, crepe myrtles, rose bushes and a few other trees and shrubs that need to be pruned during winter dormancy. We will talk about how much to prune and where to make those important cuts. We will also talk proper tools to use when making cuts .
