The Prison + Neighborhood Arts/Education Project (PNAP) is a visual arts and education project that connects teaching artists and scholars to incarcerated students at Stateville Maximum Security Prison through classes, workshops, a policy think tank, and guest lectures.Proyecto de Educación y Artes en Prisión + Vecindarios (PNAP) es un proyecto educativo y de artes visuales que conecta a artistas y académicos docentes con estudiantes encarcelados en la prisión de máxima seguridad de Stateville a través de clases, talleres, un grupo de expertos sobre políticas y conferencias de invitados.

The Winter Auction will feature items donated by PNAP community members and supporters.

PNAP’s Winter Auction will feature items donated by community members and supporters. By participating in the auction, you ensure we can continue to offer classes at Stateville prison and engage in a variety of Chicago-area programming with communities impacted by the carceral state. The auction will feature a performance during the intermission. Below is a list of items available at our virtual auction, which will take place on December 11th at 4:00 PM CST on Zoom, to bid on items you must be present at the zoom. Unless pickup at our new office in Uptown is requested, all items will be shipped to the winning bidders. Items will ship 1-2 weeks from the date of the auction; however, we cannot guarantee items will arrive in time for the holidays. Payment must be made via Paypal or personal check. (Checks should be made out to “Northeastern Illinois University Foundation” with “PNAP Winter Auction” in the “For” line.)
