Join us for a fun and informative evening discovering grape varietals and their relation to the terroir in which they grow while you support a great charitable cause, Next Generation Investment! The May 22 event will be held at Oak and Barrel, 1255 Centre Street in Newton Center, MA from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. Taste a selection of wines from all over the world as discussed with wine experts. You can also explore some of the best American spirits through a whiskey, rye and bourbon tasting for a “guided tour” by a representative of Michter’s Distillery. There will be some delightful snacks to help you throughout the evening.
The event is to support Next Generation Investment and its mission. As an organization designed with educators in mind, Next Generation Investment works with an on-the-ground support team, local teachers and administrators to provide instructional support. Our board consists of award-winning educators with experience at all levels of academic administration and instruction. It is with this guidance and direction that NGI can offer first-hand knowledge that empowers local schools to elevate instruction to meet emerging demand for skills development.
For the past several years, we have been working with the Monduli School District in Arusha, Tanzania. This school district is comprised of a majority of schools with members of the Maasai. Visit is at https://www.ngi.global for more information on our work.
100% of the $100 each ticket sales will be donated to Next Generation Investment to support their ongoing activities. Thank you to Oak and Barrel for hosting the event – and you will be able to purchase the tasted wines at a discounted rate during the event.
