The aim is a direct link between the hardworking winemakers of the Italian countryside and the curious taste buds of wine lovers everywhere with this ethos being a perfect fit for the team at CLOUDS.Despite both Chinese and Italian food cultures having a heavy emphasis on the relatively similar staples of rice, noodles and pasta the rest of their respective traditional palettes tend to be quite divergent (think delicately seasoned steamed prawn dumplings versus a robust, creamy carbonara for instance). That said, the five wines selected (including one Col Fondo, a dazzling Merlot and an incredible blended orange wine from Umbria) represent a wonderful pairing challenge for chef Anita Cheung and her team - we look forward to hosting you to enjoy the fruits of their collaboration!
