J﻿oin us for a brews, bbq and best practices event for all contractors, builders and architects at True North Brewery in Ipswich, MA.Window Installation Demo with Marvin &amp; SIGAAn in-depth installation demonstration and presentation with Marvin &amp; SIGA explaining best installation techniques with regards to building a rough opening, installing windows into the RO, shimming, plumbing and squaring the window to structurally attach to the building framing. Weatherproofing the windows to the structure - discussion will be around materials such as flashing and compounds used to create a weather-tight perimeter around openings. Compatibility of materials with regards to compounds, climate and caulkings for air/water tightness and higher efficiency performance.Performance Testing on Window Install with IntertekAfter the installation demo, we will be joined by Intertek to walk through a live performance testing demonstration on a full window install to check for air/water tightness trouble areas and performance efficiency based on best practices from an install.S﻿pace will be limited, sign up today!
