Each session is unique; no one class will be the same.

Many of us are OVERSTIMULATED & IMBALANCED

  • Meditating daily quiets the survival brain activity (Amygdala)
  • This restores the natural balance between sympathetic & parasympathetic nervous systems
  • This balance is necessary to access and activate higher/greater cognitive functions
  • This process helps to convert pessimism & anxiety into contemplative reflection & constructive imagination

OUTCOME ORIENTED GUIDED PRACTICES ARE IMPORTANT. Here are some examples:

  • To overcome limiting thought processes and promote/develop results-based exploration
  • To find your own answers through meditative insight & inner dialogue
  • To self-regulate & to recharge your battery

Frequently asked questions

What should I bring into the event?

1. Comfortable clothing & a pillow/cushion to sit on. 2. Water 3. Yoga mat 4. Open mind (this is a judgment-free space and we will need you to open your mind to keep it that way)

I have never practiced Yoga /I’m not flexible, should I still come?

Absolutely! Everyone has to start somewhere. Many students have never taken a yoga class before coming to this introductory session. Whether you are an experienced Yogi or someone who just wants to explore a more holistic lifestyle, there is space for you. All levels are welcome!

I've tried to meditate, and I can't stop my thoughts. How is this any different?

Mantra meditation involves controlling the input to the senses by creating specific vibrations via group chanting. Isolating the senses of touch, sight, hearing, and taste all at once results in brainwave synchronization and leads to a meditative state. Join a class and check it out!
