Throughout his career with reputable companies such as Federal Express, XPO, Kohler, Shell Oil, Pepsi and Grainger, Daryl has consistently proven himself as a successful leader through his strategic vision, hands-on approach, and passion for developing and inspiring others.

Based on his experience, Daryl has learned the importance of quick decision-making, adaptability, and effective communication in high-pressure situations. These qualities have translated seamlessly into his roles within the Transportation and Warehousing industry as a leader who thrives in dynamic environments and drives change with precision and grace.

Daryl’s extensive experience in the Transportation and Warehousing industry, has given him a deep understanding of logistics, operations, and supply chain management. Daryl has a proven track record of streamlining processes, optimizing efficiency, and driving growth within complex organizations.

Nick Trotter

National Sales Vice President, Grainger

Nick Trotter embarked on his journey with Grainger a decade ago, carving a remarkable path as a highly accomplished sales leader within the organization. Renowned for his ability to transform struggling sales teams into thriving entities, Nick has earned a solid reputation for implementing frameworks that cultivate long-term, sustainable success while seamlessly executing his talent strategy.

His professional trajectory encompasses pivotal roles, including that of District Sales Manager in both the Commercial and Manufacturing sales divisions, where he spearheaded direct sales teams. In 2019, Nick redirected his focus towards investing in the growth of emerging sales leaders, leading the Field Sales team as Regional Sales Vice President. In his current role as Regional Sales Vice President for the Manufacturing Midwest team, Nick leads a team of 130 sellers across 11 sales teams, driving a substantial revenue of over $535 million.

Notably engaged within the Grainger community, Nick serves on the Advisory Council for the Black Enterprise Network resource group and acts as the corporate liaison, fostering a strong relationship with the National Sales Network.

Before joining Grainger, Nick honed his skills in sales, negotiation, marketing, and leadership during an eight-year tenure at United Parcel Service (UPS), navigating through various individual contributor and leadership roles.

Armed with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Marketing, from The University of Southern Mississippi, Nick is a proud native of Meridian, MS, currently calling Chicago, IL, home.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Nick finds fulfillment in giving back to his community through volunteerism. His commitment extends to organizations such as Junior Achievement of Chicago, The Benjamin Lopez Foundation (Board Secretary), and North Chicago Community Partners reflecting his dedication to making a positive impact. Additionally, Nick is a life member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., embodying a spirit of lifelong connections and shared values.
