This workshop is designed to take you from nervous beginner or amateur photographer to confident nature photographer when it comes to photographing wildlife. Lee Hoy, OM System Ambassador and professional workshop leader, grew up in Oklahoma and began photographing at the Wichita Mountains National Wildlife Refuge as a young boy. This destination offers a great variety of wildlife subjects such as bison, elk, deer, longhorns, birds, and more for us to learn and practice proper exposure technique; autofocus settings, tips, and tricks; pleasing compositions; fieldcraft; reading and interpreting natural light; understanding animal behavior and so much more. It doesn’t matter what camera system you have or how much experience you have photographing wildlife, this class is designed to help any photographer at any skill level.

Participants should plan to stay at or nearby the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Lawton/Fort Sill (209 SE Interstate Dr, Lawton, Ok 73501). We will ride out each day from this area to the refuge for photography excursions and teaching.
