Currituck County 4-H is hosting a Dolphin Tour of the Roanoke Sound with Paradise Dolphin Tours on July 31st . Participants will meet at the NC Cooperative Extension, Currituck Center office located at 120 Community Way in Barco at 8:00am. This fun and exciting program is all about wildlife that live in the waterways and marshes around the Roanoke Sound. Youth ages 8-14, will enjoy a two hour tour on the Kokomo, a 40 passenger catamaran. Youth will keep their eyes open looking for bottlenose dolphins, and local species of birds. Participants will need to bring a bag lunch. Pick up will be that afternoon at 2:30pm at the NC Cooperative Extension Currituck Center.

Space is limited and registration deadline is July 29, 2024. There is a $25.00 registration fee. This may be paid online through eventbrite or you may pay with cash or check. Cash and check payments need to be paid within five days of your registration. If you are paying by check please make it payable to NCSU, and mail it to NCCE 120 Community Way Barco NC 27917. All participants must also be enrolled in 4-H Online for the 2024 program year; the link to that portion of the registration process is https://v2.4honline.com .
