Ecstatic dance is a freeform, conscious practice where you move intuitively to music, connecting with your body, mind, and spirit. It helps relieve stress, enhance self-expression, support emotional and physical healing, and deepen your connection to yourself and others.

What kind of music will be played?

Ecstatic dance music includes at least 3-5 different genres and follows a wave or arc, beginning with slow, meditative music, gradually increasing intensity to a peak, and then gently slowing down again.

Who can participate?

Accepted Answer

Anyone! It’s inclusive and welcomes all ages (with parent guardian under 16), abilities, and experience levels. Unfortunately, there are many stairs to get to the room. However, the experience is otherwise accommodating.

What are the guidelines?

Accepted Answer

No talking in the dance area (sounds and singing are welcome), No shoes in the dance area, no cell phone or camera usage in the dance area, and no substances permitted (please come sober).
