About this event

  • Event lasts 2 days 22 hours

Embark on an extraordinary adventure and answer the call of the wild by enrolling now for this exceptional experience.

Picture unzipping your tent on a crisp morning to witness the sunrise. As the wilderness transitions from night to day, you'll inhale the pure air, gearing up for an immersive training day like no other in the cadet program.

During this hands-on training, you will receive expert instruction in shelter-building, fire-starting, foraging, wilderness first-aid, knot-tying, rescue techniques, water purification, and more, delivered by knowledgeable instructors. These vital skills will empower you to face challenges in any outdoor situation.

You'll master the art of cooking meals on camp stoves and campfires while forging bonds with a select group of cadets from across the state. Each cadet will sleep in their one-person tent, and all necessary equipment (tools, sleeping bags, backpacks, etc.) will be provided for the training. This course will unfold in a remote and serene setting, with occasional hikes to explore different resources.

Enrollment is limited to 30 participants, and cadets must be enrolled in 9th-12th grade for the 2024-25 school year. If you have any questions before registering, please don't hesitate to email us at Survival@cacadets.org.

Your adventure of a lifetime awaits.
