Summer Space Academy 2026

Clark Planetarium's Summer Space Academy is your child's launchpad to an unforgettable summer. These full- and half-day camps run from June through August and are packed with hands-on experiments, interactive lessons, and out-of-this-world fun.

Saddle up and set your course for a wild adventure! In this 4-day camp, explorers will journey into the realm of cosmic cowboys and daring space pirates. Campers will travel from planet to planet on a quest to secure their treasure, earning space credits as they explore strange worlds, solve challenges, and outsmart the dangers of the galaxy. Through hands-on challenges and creative missions, they’ll learn what it takes to survive—and thrive—in the most untamed areas of space.Clark Planetarium's Summer Space Academy is your child's launchpad to an unforgettable summer. From space missions to science challenges, every day is a new adventure.Our programs are designed to be both educational and affordable, making it easier than ever to spark a lifelong love of STEM in a fun, supportive environment.Ages:This camp is for children ages 9 - 11Dates:June 15th - June 18th (M - Th)Times:Camp runs 9:00 am - 4:00 pm each day. Drop-off begins at 8:30 am. The pick-up window is between 4:00 - 4:15 pm. Drop-off &amp; pick-up will take place in Clark Planetarium's lobby.Cancellation Policy:If you need to cancel your child's camp registration, please email ClarkReservations@SaltLakeCounty.gov at least two weeks prior to the first day of camp. Per Salt Lake County policy, the Clark Planetarium will withhold twenty-five percent (25%) of your registration fee. Registrations canceled less than two weeks prior to the camp start date, will not be refunded.
