Wild Game Processing WORKSHOP

This is a FREE workshop for adults 18 and over about how to process your own wild game. We will cut up a deer quarter and a bit o small game

This is a FREE workshop for adults 18 and over.

Join the Illinois Learn to Hunt team at Sangchris Lake for this wild game processing workshop.

This workshop will be hands on but we will be indoors. Come dressed to be comfortable but don't wear anything that you dont want to get dirty.

We will break down and process a deer quarter or 2 together. Everyone will get an opportunity to do some processing. We will talk about meat care from field to table.

We will also bring a small game animal or two that we can process together depending upon availability.

We will have gloves, knives, sharpeners, wild game, packaging stuff and everything we will need. You just need to bring yourself and any drinks or snacks that you might need.

This workshop usually fills up so register today as space is limited. Adults only for this one.
