Wild Design: Creating New Mental Models for Learning and Leading

Too often, schools and mission-driven organizations are trapped in outdated, industrial models of learning that leave people disengaged and disillusioned. Today, the acceleration of AI is exacerbating this situation. We need new metaphors and new mental models to provide a fresh perspective on the design of teaching, learning, and doing.

Wild Design for Learning offers a bold alternative, drawing on patterns and processes from the natural world – spirals, waves, and fractals – to spark fresh ways of thinking about how we approach our work no matter what the field.

This workshop invites people doing social impact work in any sector to engage in dialogue, creative practice, and critical reflection as they explore regenerative approaches to their work. Participants will leave with concrete tools, actionable strategies, and a community to design wild, adaptive, and interconnected approaches to complex problem-solving in their work.
