About this event

We’re calling all nature enthusiasts, conservationists and animal lovers to join us for an exciting event at Potter Park Zoo. June 1, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m., we’ll be hosting a river cleanup along the Lansing River Trail in front of the park. This is your chance to make a difference in your community and help us protect the beautiful wildlife that calls our rivers home.

We welcome anyone who wants to lend a hand in making our environment cleaner and safer. We know that a single act can make a big difference and we’re counting on our dedicated community to help us make this event a success. Supplies will be provided by Potter Park Zoo and this year we have partnered with Michigan Waterway Stewards to make this event even bigger!

So, come and be a part of the solution. Let’s work together to protect our rivers, the animals that live there and the beautiful scenery around us. We can’t wait to see you at the zoo on the morning of June 1 for this exciting and impactful river cleanup event!

For participating in our river clean-up, you will recieve free same day admission to the zoo and a hotdog lunch for everyone in your party!
