WikiConference San Diego planning team

<P><STRONG><A HREF="http://wikiconference.org" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">WikiConference North America </A></STRONG>(formerly WikiConference USA) is the annual conference of Wikimedia enthusiasts and volunteers in the United States, Canada and Mexico. The weekend features both academic and casual presentations on Wikimedia-related outreach activities, workshops to improve the skills of grassroots organizers, and discussions on the past, present, and future of the Wikimedia projects. <BR></P>
<P>The third annual WikiConference North America will be held in San Diego, California on October 7–10, 2016.</P>
<H2>Schedule: <BR></H2>
<UL>
<LI>Friday, October 7 will be a cultural institution crawl / editing day at Balboa Park museums and cultural institutions. This event is free, lunch on your own (please register if you plan to attend).<BR></LI>
<LI>Saturday, October 8 (9:30-5:30) will be at the San Diego Public Library. Light breakfast and lunch provided for paid attendees.</LI>
<LI>Sunday, October 9 (12:30-5:30) will be at the San Diego Public Library. Afternoon snacks and reception provided for paid attendees.</LI>
<LI>Monday, October 10 (9:30-4:00) will be at the San Diego Public Library. Light breakfast and lunch provided for paid attendees.</LI>

<H2>Registration:</H2>
<P>Registration is $25 for all days or $10/day Sat-Sun-Mon; this fee includes light breakfast and lunch (on Saturday and Monday, snacks on Sunday) and supports this volunteer-run event. If you know you can only attend 1 or 2 days, please register for just those days so we have an accurate headcount. If you plan to come on Friday, please register for this separately even if you buy the full conference ticket. <BR></P>
<P>For attendees who are unable or do not wish to pay, you can attend for free as WikiConference aims to be accessible to all! FREE REGISTRATION DOES NOT INCLUDE LUNCH; IF YOU PLAN TO ATTEND THE ENTIRE CONFERENCE AND WOULD LIKE TO EAT WITH US, PLEASE USE THE PAID REGISTRATION.
