About this event

Wisconsin Family Connections Center invites adoptive, foster, guardianship, relative/kinship, and reunified families to kick off a season of nature exploration with a Day at Amnicon Falls State Park! You will have the opportunity to stock up with water and snacks, as well as meet and greet with other families, before you head out on your adventure. All families will receive a scavenger hunt activity and a 2024 season vehicle admission sticker for Wisconsin's State Parks (limit of one pass per family)!

From the park website: Amnicon Falls State Park features a series of delightful waterfalls and rapids along the Amnicon River. You can view them from a covered foot bridge or 2 miles of trails along the river. The park is a place to picnic, camp, walk in the woods and learn about the Douglas Fault, the geological formation that created the falls. For more information about the Amnicon Falls State Park, visit their website at https://dnr.wisconsin.gov/topic/parks/amnicon.

Please register as soon as possible as spots are limited! If you have any questions or concerns, reach out to ldeering@cclse.org.
