"Wait what? This sucks!!! I am way too young to be experiencing this." As a recently young widowed woman, it was hard for me to find a space, outlet, or support system that catered to my age range. Many of the groups that I attended both in person and virtually were for elderly people that had recently lost their spouses; I did not fit in and I couldn't connect. I was hurting and I needed to connect with people that understood. Two months after the loss of my spouse and after an exhaustive search looking for a grief support group that matched my needs, I created my own!!! If you have unexpectedly become a widow (woman) or widower (male) at a young age this is the space for you. Come, connect, and fellowship in a virtual space with others that are encountering similar struggles.
This group meets the last Saturday of every month virtually.
