About this event

  • 7 hours 30 minutes

The Foundations of Fatherhood Summit exists to advance fatherhood and families in Michigan communities.

Our theme for 2024 is "Wide World of Fathering," where our speakers will address the diversity of situations and parenting issues facing fathers, as well as opportunities for agencies and organizations working with fathers to increase inclusion and equity in serving fathers.

Our goals:

  • Providing educational and motivational content;
  • Networking for fatherhood practitioners;
  • Providing fathers additional knowledge and resources to thrive;
  • Educating those who may not work directly with fathers.

The Summit is open to all Michigan fathers and fatherhood practitioners, and partners in other locations.

We have a limited number of in-person tickets available that include hot breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack. Early bird registration ($75/person) opens February 19th with scholarship opportunities available. Email foundationsoffatherhood@gmail.com to request a scholarship. After April 15th in-person registration is $100/person.

Virtual tickets are $50/person and will allow access to all sessions and the ability to participate.

We recommend that in-person attendees wishing to stay overnight before or after the conference stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Flint Downtown, which is about 3 minutes walking distance from the event venue. We do NOT have a room block at the hotel.
