About this event

Why are the Dutch so interested in America?

Start with a tour of the Boeing 747 aircraft parked in front of the Hotel.

Listen to Corendon CEO and former State Secretary of Culture and Media Gunay Uslu reflecting on why Dutch people have so long been fascinated with America and the Americans.


Watch how Geert Snoeijer, renowned photographer, presenting a selection of the photographs of the exhibition “The Holland Society in New York in 2009 as a graphical illustration and explanation.


Ms Uslu and Mr Snoeijer will be introduced by NAF Fulbright 2023-2024 Fellow Jennifer Motter.

The lecture will be followed by informal drinks and bites.

A great opportunity to meet NAF grantees, NAF members and people interested in US-NL relations and learn more about the long-standing fascination of Dutch people with the United States.

Due to the space limitations of the Boeing 747, guests can take part tours in smaller groups between 18:00 and 18:30.
